Hi I’m Saskia

I’m so glad you’ve found your way here - welcome to my practice. I’m based in a bright and serene space overlooking the rooftops of Blackheath in South East London.

My interest in complementary medicine began at a young age, growing up in a family with herbalists and acupuncturists. As a child suffering from eczema, I experienced firsthand the powerful and effective results of these treatments.

Becoming an acupuncturist is my dream job. After completing my Biology degree at university, I knew I wanted to pursue a career where I could work with and support people. However, I got caught up in city life and spent the next ten years building a career in marketing.

When a close relative fell seriously ill, my desire to support people’s health became stronger than ever. That’s when I decided to embark on my acupuncture journey.

I believe acupuncture is a partnership between practitioner and patient, built on mutual trust and collaboration and my passion lies in reconnecting people with their health in natural ways. I treat from the heart, fully investing myself in each individual case.

Outside of the therapy room, you might find me at the yoga studio (still trying to master handstands), walking my mischievous Westie around Greenwich Park, cooking for friends and family, reading a good book, going to an exhibition or getting lost in a gripping series.

MY MISSION & VALUES

  • Create an inclusive, non-judgmental, and welcoming space.

  • Ensure you always feel supported and heard.

  • Provide individualised and holistic treatments that address the root causes of your health concerns.

  • Continuously enhance my expertise through ongoing professional development and by staying up-to-date with the latest innovations and research in the field.

MY TRAINING

LicAc, MBAcC

I spent three years studying for my Acupuncture degree at the City College of Acupuncture in London, training under some of the UK’s leading acupuncturists. I am also a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), the UK's principal regulatory board for acupuncturists. Learning the art and science of acupuncture is a lifelong journey, and since qualifying, I have pursued further studies in acupuncture for fertility, pregnancy, assisted reproductive technology (ART) and menopause.
